Tranquility was established in late 2023 by our lead guitarist Mason McCleary. At the time he was working at DeMont Guitars on Stonehill Road, it was there he found our bassist Jack Kremer. He didn’t know Jack or even his name but he liked what he heard and managed to track him down. In months to come Tranquility had gained our rhythm guitarist Haven Nguyen and former drummer Michael “Mikey” Peterson. The band was almost complete but still lacked a vocalist.

After Mikey’s departure, Tranquility needed a new drummer and vocalist. In early September, some interest was shown in filling the position of Tranquility vocalist. After two weeks of careful consideration, we found our lead singer, Charles “CJ” LeForce II. He came in with tons of enthusiasm and tried to help get Tranquility off the ground, for example, helping write songs and providing a drum set.

Then in late September, Tranquility got a response to a “drummer wanted” post on their Instagram. After some time, they took on their drummer Nick Mensik. Once they had all come together, they felt the urge to release a song so thus began the preparation for recording “INFERNO”. At that time, Tranquility took in a sixth member, Sam Decarlo, a quick learner who brought a lot of talent and experience to the table. Sam was with the band until the end of the “INFERNO” recording process and left due to other commitments around its release. Tranquility rehearses every Sunday and released their debut single “INFERNO” earlier this year, they also aim to release a follow-up single titled “Are You Alive?” in months to come.
